Dana 44
Found a pic of what it will look like ( from the out side.. lol) when it is all cleaned up.
When I post my build parts list.. I would really welcome any input, suggestion, or changes from forum Wheeler's. Want to Do my build the best we can with out having to do it twice. Lol

Build parts list.
Going to keep my Dana 30, and Build the bolt in Dana 44 that came out of a 1989 Cherokee xj.
Gears front and rear 4.56
lockers. after talking to every one I could and my research. Air is better than Elec. The reason I came up with this direction was because when you turn the air lockers off they disengage instantly, elec you have to roll a few feet for them to disengage. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Have herd Arb is the best. About $2000.00 front and rear. But I just herd of a co. Called Yucon (sp)
For about $1500.00 F/R. Don't know much about them. So any comments on this would be helpful.
Moly Shafts 30 spline F/R. Have been told that they are about 40% stronger than standard.
Master Install kit and outer bearings.
Drive Shafts with Slip y. F/R
Going to Truss both F/R. I have seen this done upper and lower. I think upper is the best so i keep as much ground Clearance as I can.
3/8 diff covers F/R
Having A shop By the Name of LeadFoot (owners name is Josh) here in SoCall doing my build. He is working on the build list for the Manufacturer of the parts. I have a lot of trust in his thoughts. But after being on this forum, The feedback from members have been a wealth food for thought .

Metal Center Console Bracket
Just pulled the trigger on one of these. Been looking at Ccooper1234' s post for awhile. As we all know the stock bracket is plastic. Every wheeler that has a XJ knows what I mean. It will be shipped on Tuesday. Now I'll have something to hold on to while wheeling lol.

The build has started
Got the Dana 30 out and just got it Sleeved. Dana 44 has been built and will in On monday. I have a run in BigBear this next Weekend so the pressure is on For Josh at Leadfoot. I'm really glad to have LeadFoot do my work. Josh does a great job interacting with me and always takes my call. Great shop. The great thing about pulling up to his place is seeing other XJ's out front. He knows the XJ very well. He also has one himself.
