Ive heard that you can get 1.5" pipe and bend it in the pipe bender, then cut it in half (length wise, along the curve of the die) and weld it into the die. Since the I.D. of the pipe is 1.5", and the O.D. of the tube is 1.5", tube should fit nice and snug in the modified pipe die.

You would be cutting a piece of tube like this http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4065/...e0d7c1db_o.jpg and welding it into the die.

Make sense?

Well it been way too long since I've upgraded anything on the Red Rock Monster! And I've been thinking about the D44/9" swap, but I've seen first hand that that setup is more headaches than is worth! SOOOO...

Just put in an order for F&R USA 4.56 gears, Yukon alloy 8.25 shafts, & will be putting in an order for the 8.25's Aussie locker tomorrow!
Also lookin at some used 33x12.5x15 Mickey Thompsons

Has anyone heard about the back orders on the Aussie for the 8.25????

Guess I better get to the JY & find an 8.25... haha

So I had to play hooky from work today, but I pulled my 8.25 29 spline out of a '01 XJ at the JY for $130!

Also picked up a intake outta a neon (guess what I was looking for) paid $5 for it!
