Crist,
I will be interested in any extra parts you may have left over. I have one like yours that I need parts for. Thanks!

Default Woodgrain Trim

Now that the woodgrain is on... Time to work on the woodgrain-trim. When I first removed the trim I sent out requests to get opinions on how did its color compared to the original... The feedback was that mine looked much like the original. But when I ordered a few NOS replacement pieces... Much to my surprise it has a woodgrain finish!

So... Ditched the blast and spray idea in search of getting a woodgrain. Off to the water-transfer folks for a woodgrain finish. Stay tuned!

Default A first look at the woodgrain-trim

The original trim end-caps were not covered in woodgrain... I had mine done as the trim is now more continuous without the solid colored end-caps break-points.

I have a drawer full of NOS emblems/badges for the XJ and these four did not have the original high-gloss/polished finish... So I had them re-chromed:

Looking good, Crist!
You want to sell your old upholstery, by any chance? My seats are looking pretty rough....
