Surgery
Surgery's tomorrow. Putting me under for it cause it'll take about 2 hours. Then 4 more days to watch my lung to make sure it's healing right. Wish me luck!
Hopefully I'll be home soon and have a few days to tackle my lift before I have to go back to work
Lung should be filling up the entire cavity like the other one. Isn't doing that even with the tube.

Phase 2 Planning
Since I am isolated to not being able to move/push/pull/lift anything over 5lbs for the next week, and only going up 5lbs more per week after for a couple months my lift will be a long while. Decided against getting a new exhaust until later, so I'm compiling another list of things for the Jeep. Phase 2 I guess. Recovery/protection and gearing. Getting some Richmond 4.10 gears for the front HP D30 and rear 29 spline C8.25 aswell as a speedo gear for the 32s and an Advanced Adapters SYE, will look into getting a custom rear driveshaft when I do that too. Also looking at getting an LSD rather than lockers because mine is more of a DD/ trail riding and probably some mudding instead of rock crawling. So the Detroit Trutrac LSD is looking promising when the funds come. Most likely doing the rear first, or maybe the front. Haven't decided yet. Also looking at bumpers: Love to look and hear a lot of good things about Aresfab and their front winch bumpers, as well as looking to get their rock sliders to hopefully finally clean up my rusty rockers. As for rear bumpers, if I want to go cheap I'll get the SmittyBuilt XRC rear tire carrier. Otherwise I'm either looking at Aresfab's or JCR's tire carriers, I'll need to save up for both, especially JCR's.
And I'll probably need a spare tire too haha.

Ordered a Rubicon Express steering stabilizer. Mine's old and stock and probably won't fare well with the 32s.
Again, stockpiling parts for the lift for when I get better.

Thinking of taking the wire wheel for the air compressor and go try to shave off any surface rust I can find and throw some paint down, that's not very labor intensive right? As long as it doesn't rain.

Getting some really nice heavy duty rocker replacements from AresFab. Went to the Jeep meet today and had really good time hanging out with James, Brandon, Anthony and everyone else (whose names I forgot sorry). Amazing to finally get out of the house.

If all goes well I'll be starting the lift tomorrow! Got almost everything I need except the V8 ZJ sterring which isn't here yet. Still gotta get taller jack stands too.
Also picked up a Ruff Stuff D30 diff cover, thing's beefy and might paint it red to match the Jeep. Thanks again Brandonrcm!

Lift Progress
Not too much progress right now. Got the rear swaybar, rear shocks, and U-bolts out. The 3 remaining shock bolts snapped, figures. And the bottom bolt for the PS rear shock snapped too. Leaf springs were not budging at all so we're cutting them. Getting more sawzall blades right now to finish the job, and that's just 1 side!! Oh and the vibrations from impact guns made my rockers fall apart even more.
Pics!
Lol who needs bump stops anyways?
Semi-mock up of what it could maybe possibly look like in the front
