Currently looking at another big purchase to go into the "Still needs to be installed" corner of my room.
Either a new exhaust: Gibson cat-back preformance with a Magnaflow universal cat aswell as a flex joint pipe. My stock exhaust is worn, the cat is toast, and there are rust holes in both the cat and muffler, I'd like the little but of mpg and power from a fresh system. Headers would be later down the line.
Or a Detroit Truetrac LSD for the rear. Being a DD I want good road manners, but don't have the funds to drop a selectable locker in yet, that'll be for the front most likely. But I want the added traction.
Or Napier flat flares. Because reasons.
Wouldnt bother with an LSD. Wait and set gears up once with a selectable selectable if thats what you want. LSD still has slipping. And for the price of them I'd save the coin for a selectable anyday.

Only thing is there isn't alot of options for selectable lockers for the C8.25, ARB's air locker being the most money, then OX being a cable locker. Eaton didn't make one for it.

why not go with the ox cable locker. Less to break. Simple and works.

That's what I was thinking. If I go that route I'll do an OX cable locker in the rear and an Eaton E-locker or ARB air locker up front. I definitely want the front selectable. Time to save up even more lol

Might aswell do matching front and rear. My brothers ZJ had ox's front and rear. worked great.
"Jeep part stimulus package" filed and waiting for the return. Also have a new subwoofer speaker on the way. Supposed to snow a bit tomorrow, only 1-4", but that's enough to play in
Next week it's suppose to be much nicer out (40s and up to 50°) and I'll more free time since work's been slow. fingers crossed I can get something done.
The List
-Brake lines
-quick disconnects (when they decide to get here )
-Install hitch
-wire and install winch
- rocker replacements
-install sub
-wire and mount lights
-wash/detail

Went to get pancakes with the guys at work
Lol "Jeep parts stimulus package" Trying to decide whether or not to invest mine into my current one, or sell it to my brother and look at getting one with less rust to begin with.
So my rear bumper isn't coming off in one piece. The bolts are rusted and siezed, just like the front was. So the nut strips and hitch are gonna have to wait. I might just get an entire rear bumper early instead so I don't have to worry about it.
In other news, I lost 400+ pictures saved on my phone because for some reason "miscellaneous files" meant my pictures.. so almost all of the pics of my Jeep are gone. At least the memories of the horrendous lift install are still haunting me.
Gave the jeep a quick wash to prep for the warm weather tomorrow. It's going to be 60° and I'm gonna baby it one last time before Winterfest with a nice clay bar detail. I've really got to do the brake lines (and maybe get those days off work for the event. And register lol), with 3 weeks until the deadline I've either gotta send it somewhere, or get some help cause it won't exactly be easy with the lines siezed. Plus it being my daily it don't want to **** anything up as per usual.
Found out why my JKS quick disconnects haven't come yet, despite ordering them January 31st. Ordered them from Serious Offroad and left an email earlier today about it. Frank actually called me and said there have been 6 other issues for the past month with JKS products not shipping out and probably because the sales rep he works with for JKS either quit or got fired and will hopefully be getting in touch with JKS tomorrow to get this settled.
