Tie rods are next. Anyone have thoughts on the steering box brace? .. the 89 had 4" with 33s on 17s

Noticed you are in Ogden. I went to Weber University and while attending I sold my 97 XJ (Lapis Blue 4 door) to some guy in North Ogden. Complete with lift, lockers, wheels/tires and Custom 4x4 front and rear bumpers. Last year I drove through the area and it is still sitting in his front yard with no tags.

As for the death wobble, check your wheel bearings too. If you are changing the tie rods, upgrade to the ZJ ones. I got mine at AutoZone with lifetime warranty.

The death wobble could quite b the track bar unless u have adjustable 1. If u go up more than 2" it throws it outta wack and wears it out quick. There fairly cheap 2 for adjustable 1

Wow. Rude of me. I never saw your post.. my fault. It's 4.5" w 33s on 17s.. same as the 00 Cherokee now. I've sold the 89.

Update time... Even tho I'm too broke to even do anything to my jeep..

I've sold the 89 and still have my 00. I've recently done a water pump on it. I've also taken the fender flares off and trimmed the fenders. Also took off all the black trim and sticky stuff. I've put in led cabin lights all around (white). I had replaced the water pump because it was leaking, come to find that my head is cracked up by my thermostat housing... I'm at a stand still now. Debating on what to do. I think I'm going to tear her down this weekend and figure out my options.

Your definitely correct. Glad you're on your toes! Ha I guess I was meaning the flares were removed. Thanks for the correction.
