BleepinJeep's Zombie Jeep Build Thread
Ok here it is. I waited until I was finished because I knew I wouldn't have the patience to keep this updated frequently. Anyway, I figured it was time to put a build thread/ photo thread / video thread (if it will let me), out there for those who are not familiar with my videos and YT channel.
This is the Zombie Jeep and was built as a doomsday preppers survival vehicle for the zombie apocalypse. Or I guess it would be a good overlander as well.
I have made a video for just about every modification that I've done on this thing from bone stock to as it sits. So I'll put some photos and videos here or maybe just the YT playlist which is just a list/compliation of all the YT vids of the build in one YT frame... will this forum let me embed that??
It is a 1990 Jeep Cherokee XJ with 3.5" of lift, 31" tires, a Dana 44 XJ rear axle, a 32 gallon gas tank, a 1200W inverter, a custom relay and fuse box, JCR sliders - 1/4 panel - and rear bumper, a heavily customized ARB front bumper, Dual batteries, rancho shocks, a hood snorkel, upgraded brake booster, LED's all around, custom cargo divider and shelf, viair onboard air, riot/zombie protection all around, and I'm sure a bunch of other things I'm missing.
Some of the Sponsors are JcrOffroad, Wurton, Viair, Rough Country, Sunset Metal Fab, and Applical.
Here are some more pics:
What led to the smoke^ We had a slight accident during the photo shoot after pouring a little too much... Don't try this at home!!
The rear^
Sometimes it draws the zombies out^
So when that happens it's helpful to be prepared^
And that's me^ Matt from BleepinJeep. This is my best sexy pose!
Lets see If I can embed a few YT videos:
This is the final Walkaround video^
Halfway through this video is the jeep when I first bought it^
The Brake Booster Upgrade^
How I made the bastard pack^
And the front lift^
This is how I painted the wheels^
And how to customize your automatic shifter^
How to change your muffler bearings incase you haven't done this lately^
How to convert your axleshaft from two piece to one piece^
The 1/4 panel armor^
The custom switch panel^
How to install Dual batteries^
This is a good one! How to make your own Fuse and Relay box^
Got NSS problems?^
How I made the roof rack^
The 32 Gal gas tank install^
A closer look at the "meat rack" zombie protection^
The rear storage area^
Onboard air^

And those are only a few, I have many more videos so I'll leave the link to the playlist if you are interested in seeing them all:^
Ok, well I think that's all I have I guess. I'd be happy to answer any questions about the zombie jeep (if you have any). I'm not real sure how to use it but I just signed up for photobucket so I'll leave that link here if you'd like to see more pics: http://s1382.photobucket.com/user/Bl...eep/slideshow/
Thanks,
Matt

I ran into your youtube site a couple times. Never ran across the muffler bearings though, I have been searching for a write up!

Hey! Good to see you on CF!
Big fan of your videos.
Now that you have your Zombie Jeep here, you should join the Zombie Response Group. The link is in my signature.
