i guess im that bored today before going to work, so here it is. This is the build on my 2000 xj that i bought 2 years ago w/ 117xxx miles. i paid 4500$. going strong on 140xxx with the 0331 head, holler. ive still lots of big plans for it, trying to make it into an off the map kind of persons dream. i take it backpacking/camping to remote areas alot, fishing and hunting at hard to reach places, so ive kind of built it around that and off of my poor college student income. here goes.

so right now its on a 3" RC aal and 31x10.50 hankook atm's and american racing 15x8 outlaw II's.
i put on front and rear class IV receivers for my winch and other goodies that i built....rodholders, cargo racks and so on....
it has open dif's right now, but im rebuilding a hp dana 30 that i snagged for 100$. im going to throw in an aussie locker and put on adjustable UCA's and LCA's, a zj tie rod, and adjustable trac bar, and dual steering stabilizers. because theyre different.
it has a nice sound system in it and i just replaced my dry rotted JL sub with a DB audio 12" deep cone. it has a 2000w JL amp and a kenwood 1000w amp and two smaller speakers that i forget the size on...put i just put in replacement JBL speakers a couple months ago
it goes pretty well on central pa trails
ill put up some more stuff later on tonight

the best thing ive done so far is the kayak racks on top. hands down. I put an air mattress in the back for me and the gf and throw the kayaks on the roof and shabam, 100$ vacations. perfection.
dont really have any pictures with 2 yaks on it, but theres one. theyre the malone folding ones. its so easy to use and i can put 2 on the roof by myslef in about 5 minutes. since i dont have a pic of 2 on the roof, heres a pic of backpacking trip in yosemite. cross country jeep, yes please.
i also did the H4 conversion headlights, but failed to do the wiring harness upgrade as well. the blue bulbs HID whatever they are blew in a matter of hours, but regular old sylvanias get the job done. i also put a muffler on....thrush welded i think. it has a nice deep throaty graon to it now. ha. anyhow...
my next mod to the jeep will either be 1.25" wheel spacers or an expedition snorkel like this one, i havent really decided yet. which way should i go with this?

ordered the aussie. id also like to put a rc adj trac bar, iron rock offroad adj lca's and uca's, zj tie rod, and a truss. doubt ill ever really need any of that, but i just want to do it right. any suggestions on a drag link? or should i just use a stock one?
i also prepped my jcr sliders and quarter panels for some roll on herculiner. i'll try and get some pics up of that once i get it done
