rest of the fuel lines and brake lines coming out today, also gas tank rear end, leaf springs and rear shocks.
So it will be a complete bone bare uni-body.

Well I already have the V8 crossmember, so I'll bolt that in.
Me and winston427 are going to pick it up and carry it outside to completely clean and spray bedliner inside engine compartment. fill in holes in firewall.

Nope. It all depends on wallet and what deals I can come across at the time. I know what parts I want to use. I'm still leaning on propane injection.

Well sorry guys didn't get the rear end out or the gas tank. But I did get the barn cleaned up and front bumper removed.

 

Nice lookin build and for sure diffrent, which is good! Cant wait to see it with the chevy running gears under it. The 283 is a nice choice for decent power, decent rpms, put a little bump stick in it for some good sound and also it will get good gas milege.

 

Rear Windows out, doors off and rear end ready to come out. and pics of how light a XJ really is.

are you gunna stiffen it up? put rockers on? seems like a good time to fab some rockers... maybee cut out the stock ones so you gain some clearence...
