Now that I had my big boy bumper and was out of money again I lived in the woods for a while until I got back on my feet. Nah, I was just camping.

#10 It then came time to sell my tires. Figured I should get some cash out of them before they're completely bald and not worth anything. Still couldn't sell them for nearly enough to buy a new set though. BUT WAIT THERES MORE, remember my old set? and my other old set? I had those too! So 120 for the Procomps, 300 for the Grabbers with rims and 80 bucks for my crappys got me an instant 500 bucks! Thanks Craig (or whoever came up with Craigslist).

And then I bought these!!
33x12.5 Goodyear Duratracs brand new for 200 bucks. (cost me 700 but I had already had 500 from selling my old tires, see what I did there?)
Total: 1680+400 (sye and accessories) +350 (rear bumper) + 200 (for tires)= 2630 total invested in the Jeep.

#11 Downsizing. At some point I busted my e brake so I had to take that center console crap off and make a mess. The cable popped out of the bracket beneath the e-brake and broke the metal. I briefly tried searching for a new one but very rapidly gave up and haven't been able to find one yet.
I also began losing trim pieces along the way and realized my once stock and pretty cherokee would never look the same.

Then I installed a honda motor.
I also enjoy when my co-workers wash my car for me without my permission, the funniest part is that I don't work at a carwash....

OH yeah, it also doesn't have a front bumper now....

#12 ....because I bought THIS! Shorty stinger winch bumper off eBay for 460 bucks, costs a pretty penny, but not much considering what other bumpers will run you... Total: 2630 +460= 3090 invested

Just a creeper picture, OH and the seller I bought by bumper from now uses my Jeep to feature their product so that's pretty cool.

#13 Now that I've had my fun, it was time to get serious about bodywork. My tires are rubbing on the fender, and the last few trail rides had taken a HUGE toll on my stock rockers, plus I had just bent my tie rod too.
Additionally my lower quarter panels were rotted to hell and needed to be addressed before the virus spread.

So I cut my fenders. First time doing it, I ended up using electric shears, it did its job.
Then I removed the tire carrier to make room for lower quarter surgery, and fooled around while I was at it.

And I never actually put the tire carrier back on. I took the rest off. And I sold it for 300 dollars, and bought a new rear bumper with a trailer hitch and d ring mounts for 180. No tire carrier though...its okay, I was over it anyway. Thats what I have a trunk for. I used the leftover 120 to pay for my lower quarters to be fixed, because it was way to cold out to do it myself.
The new bumper is angled at the ends so it actually fits with the cut quarters better than the Detours bumper would have.

My one real complaint with the Detours bumper is that the tire carrier would rattle back and forth, and it actually slammed into my trunk hatch once and left a huge dent. I think its only really ideal for 31's and under.

Spongebob is a guilty pleasure, except I don't feel guilty about it.

And the snow subsided enough to go on a much needed wheeling trip...only to snap two of the three bolts holding the steering box to the frame. It's hard getting home only making lefts. So instead of trying to get the bolts out of the steering box I said screw it and replaced the whole thing, 20 year old box was probably due for a change anyway. Go durango or go home right?

#14 The cheapo paint I had on the bumper started to come off with the abuse of the winter, so I powder coated it blue. REALLY BLUE. I also got a harbor freight winch on one of their holiday sales to fill in that winch mount that had been empty for so long.

The shiny foil stops the government from reading my mind, I don't remember who put that on there...
