After lurking and posting alil My first Cherokee is my friend. Its a 87 Renix first 4.0L with 260k. Rear main leaks, as well as the tail shaft. Its got a ba5/10 (no problems yet) and np231. The C101 is eliminated and hard wired .

So far its one of the best rigs ive ever owned. Ive spent alot of time going though it and preformed general maint.

Ive welded the front end, and i only did this cause i wanted to have a little more fun. I have extra axles from a 96 with 3.55's that im building. Got'em for $300.

Heres what i started with: Rustys 2" coils and adda leafs




Added 2" spacers and 1.5" shackles. welded front end and adj track bar. Not sure how much lift i netted but im guessing 4" in the rear and 3.75" in the back. The tires are some beat up 31s i had laying around.



Im doing this super slow cause im poor.... the shocks bearly fit back on after the addition of the spacers and shackles. I just got the new ones in this weds gonna put them on this weekend.
