Default Another Father Another Soldier Another Build (ZJ For mine)

Well I am new here started to lurk around after my son asked me to lift his GC for him while he is away at AIT in Texas to become a Combat Medic.
And being the father that I am and being that I love to spend time in the garage I jumpped at the chance to do a lift on the Jeep I have been wanting to lift it ever sence he brought it home. Now we have done some mods already before he left. Took off all the plastic body side trim to clean it up, filled all the whole and put on a fresh coat of black paint. Re did the inside carpet and sone cleaner interior PCs. Now time for the lift Here are a few pics I took for him to follow, These are the Jeep I washed it up before pulling into the garage to start,

Default more progress today

Banjo got the rear done today here are a few pics

Will be going back over the whole thing double checking everything after work during the week and try to get some more pics for you got way to dark tonight to get any good shots

Kevin and Nate stopped by this evening to check it out they said can't wait for you to come home so you all can go out and wheel some. Said it looks sick

Went form 31" stock from ground to top of wheel wells to 37" to tops of wheel wells nice bump

I am not sure that the Acola Wheels are going to work unless we replace the wheels studs seem to be a little short but they look really good

Kevin said he has heard that the rough country lift is a good one so far I would have to agree we will see as time goes by Think I have fixed the ABS light issue found the wire at the rear Disc, cleaned up and moved around and light has gone out at the dash

Will keep you up to date here as you can read and look at the pictures in the evening congrates on the PT test and will look forthe EMT Scores

Looks great pops should take a couple pic tomorrow with your truck in it and from the front and rear. Think it actualy looks better without the boots on there covering the shocks. Think i might get dad to paint up under there black. check back in tomorrow.
