Thumbs up Andrew's '99 4dr

This is my third xj. I figure that the first two were practice.

A good friend of mine owns a carlot and found this 99 SE with 84k. I was owned by or local city and was very well kept.

Default Mountaineer Rsck Install

Installed the rack. Went together well. Instructions were not great they left out allot of info. Otherwise very happy with the set up and it will work great for business and great for play.

Default Final Product

Everything now fits with room to spare. The basket hold tint boxes so I can pull the material out neatly.

That rack is awesome. Where did you get it? Can the top piece be taken out easily?

I got the laptop mount from gpscity.com. It came super fast. I have a 150 watt inverter to run the laptop and printer. The mount comes out in two seconds, but the floor mount stays in but is not in the way for a passenger. It was $200, got all the accesories they offered extra $30.

Default Rusty's 4.5"

Ordered today, just need the wheels and tires. I am hoping to get some canyon wheels in good condition, 5 would be great.

I,ve been wanting to get one of those racks. Just cant justify spending the $$ on it. Looking forward to this build.

Well after seeing the rack I realize now I could have made it out of conduit or other like material. I think I will build one for my wife's KJ. the rack is a little expensive but I also use it to make a living so it will pay for itself.
