such a nice build man, one of my favorites on here! where did you order your u-joints from when you replaced the old ones a few pages back?

Thanks man glad to see people are following my build. If you are talking about the u-joints for the driveshaft, I just went to pepboys and bought the "brute force" ones they sell. I hear spicer are probably best quality for typical u-joints, but the ones I used have worked fine. If you are talking about the axle shafts, I have the alloy usa u-joints with full circle clips.

I installed my transmission cooler today.
Here is where I mounted it:
I didn't want it to be touching the radiator, so I strapped it to the back side of the the front clip, about 2 inches in front of the radiator. I will have to see what this does for engine temps. I can always move it somewhere else if it blocks too much airflow though.

Here is a little update.
I painted the interior center dash piece after seeing it done on a build on jeepforum. Turned out pretty decent I think. Helps make the interior a little less ....gray.

I also sold my spare tire due to it being too small. I plan to get another spare 35" and new matching rim to mount on a tire carrier.

Thanks guys it's getting there. Those tires do make it look way bigger. Once I get all the dang little things worked out on this like replacing my fuel pump check valve, I plan to get new bumpers and rear upper quarter panel guards like jcr's.
I kind of want to get jcr's new prototype rear bumper with cut and fold and attach C-rock's tire carrier to it.

The main reason I am considering jcr is because there really aren't too many options when it comes to cut and rear fold aftermarket bumpers. The ones I mentioned earlier in my build are made by "rigidco", but I heard it takes forever for them to build stuff and it is the same deal with aj's offroad, (whose bumpers don't look too great anyways). We need better aftermarket support for xj's. I mean there are plenty of run of the mill bumpers, but not much innovative armor like the newer jk aftermarket stuff you see coming from poison spider and other companies.
I could be normal and choose to buy the tirecarrier/bumper combo from either jcr or c-rock, but like I mentioned I would prefer to mount c-rock's tire carrier seen below onto a tuck and fold rear bumper that looks decent like jcr's:
We will see though.
As far my jeep goes, I have a couple updates.
-I have researched it and there is no way to replace my faulty fuel check valve other than replacing the entire fuel pump assembly So that means I have to dish out $320 for a bosch fuel pump assembly... this is why I don't have nice things...like bumpers.... But since dropping the tank requires removing the fuel tank skid and taking off the rear bumper, I am going to hold off on fixing it until I am installing a new rear bumper so I don't do things twice.
-I also bought some hockey pucks to setup my bumpstops correctly for my 35's.
I now have only about 3" of uptravel(edited). I also kind of want to lower my jeep back down an inch so I might have to do some cutting and get rid of these bushwackers or something. I will have to test it out on the trails and see what I decide.
-I managed to break my stock jack when I was setting up my bumpstops haha.
So I went out bought one of these babies:
I am tired of hi lifts and have been meaning to get a bottle jack forever. I got this monstrous 12ton one simply because it extends to about 18.5" which is about 3 inches further than the jack that comes stock with the xj or any other bottle jack.
And one last thing. I found this sweet picture of me night wheeling in moab awhile ago at behind the rocks on white knuckle hill and decided it belongs here.

I also just remembered that when I get bumpers on it they will weigh it down and lower it a bit. Maybe I will hold out and see if that is enough for me.

I got to go test out my 35's finally yesterday. They were seriously worth every dime. They gripped on everything extremely well it felt like i was on that moab slickrock even though it was rocks covered in loose dirt i was driving on. Here are some pictures of the sweet place I found literally a couple miles away from where I live. There was some extremely crazy stuff out there which I am pretty stoked to find- probably wont go on some of it until I get a roll cage. It was in the twin buttes recreational area.
