That was cool.
I actually watched the whole thing.
If it weren't for the pressure pot I would screw around and
see what I could make. LOL.

It seems like this is something perfect for 3D printing, my brother has a higher end 3D printer, was going to see what I could do with that. Just need some translucent film.

Well, my coworker is a boss, and found me a clean one for $20+ shipping. So that is the route i'm going to take. I won't reveal my sources until after I actually get the part though...

I was gonna mention that when you started this thread. Mine eats oil and the trans is slipping, among other issues. I bought it cheap after some kid slid it into a median and crushed the control arm. They're really fun cars but I think the steering rack got damaged so that has taken the fun out of it. Yours looks a lot more fun than mine.

It has been a ton of fun, but I've had it now almost 3 1/2 years. and it's time to move it along. I cannot drive stick for very long due to a knee injury from a motorcycle accident. So that's one of the reasons I am getting back into the jeep. Off roading is a lot easier on me than track days. I've put it mostly back to stock, no more green wheels, no more stickers, etc. I have a buyer for it, supposedly he's picking it up maybe next week. if not I'll keep it another 5 years for my son who's 10 1/2 to learn to drive, and have it be his daily.

If I ever end up in another I'd like it to be a sedan. Mine was supposed to be a daily while I button up the Jeep but It'll be listed after I do couple small cosmetic things. Good luck with your sale.

If you want a mazdaspeed, I would keep an eye out on this group:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/678821062319523
They go for sale periodically on there. and there is a guy in your area-ish who buys them and rebuilds and sells.

Thank you, I'll look out. The ones I see are usually high mileage in worse condition than mine and I'd like to get something with low miles due to the piston ring issue which seems to happen to the majority of 2.0s including mine. Besides, I should probably "finish" my Jeep before I get another money pit lol.

Finish Sminish. if I didn't want a car to work on, I would have bought something new.
