After I got it my dad and I had to fix all the stuff done by the PO regarding the lift. We replaced the rear springs with OME and also shocks all around. OME in the rear and rancho in the front. Put in a t-case drop. Then i put in relocation brackets because i wanted the rear to be a bit higher. Heres some pics before and after with relocation brackets. Adjusted the shackles too after the pic

Wanted a place for the spare tire instead of it being in the cargo area taking up room. So put on a smittybuilt rear bumper with tire carrier.

A few months ago i put in new speakers and two subs. 1 12'' and 1 10" in the small cargo area in the side. the 10 doesnt put out much because i didnt build a proper box for it, just kinda shoved it in. The 12 sounds great though.

Cool story to tell about the next mod. But one day i was in my last class of the day and the resource officer for the school comes in the class and calls me, tell me a bus ran in my jeep. Go out and look at it and gave her my license, registration and insurance. Ending up getting $1800 estimate for the repair. So i got a new bumper and a header panel and a lot extra that i used to get the snowboard I was gonna get anyways lol

Then came 3x3 leds for the bumper and d-ring shackles.
For awhile now ive wanted to get some bushwackers and 33s so because im impatient i went and bought some cheap falken wildpeak at's off craigslist. i figure theyll do the job till i have the money to drop 1000 bucks on some bfgs. Also have on the way a Zj tie rod set up. Ill be ordering some bushwackers tonight hopefully. Should I go with the cut outs or flats? I was originally gonna get some flats but saw an xj with 3 inch lift and 33s with the cut outs and looks really good. And will there be enough room for 33s with the flats? |
Id get flats but im not a fan of the other ones. But thats my personal opinion.
|
Looks great!!! I like both flats and bushwacker style.. just depends on wheel width etc.. IMO

Those wheels probally have 3.75 or more backspacing.. bc it looks like 8 inch rims ...could be 10 but looks 8... with a wide wheel stance those look sharp.. if he had stock wheels it would look odd!
