Default 99 Black Cherokee Build

Hello everyone.

I bought my very first Cherokee a few weeks ago. I am very motivated to build this one up.

We will tow this behind a RV most of the time. Then my Daughter will drive it to school next year.

Here is my thoughts on what I want to do. I would appreciate your comments and thoughts.

1) 4.5" Lift BDS Suspension 4-1/2" Short Arm Lift Kit or Rubicon Express 4.5 Inch Super-Flex Short Arm Lift Kit.

2) PORC 231 J HD Slip Yoke Elimanator Kit 52231 & Driveshaft Combo

3) Rock Sliders Brand?
4) Stiffeners Brand?
5) Front Winch Bumper Smittybilt 76810 XRC or Rusty's Bumper RA-BM15-XJ or RA-BM45P-XJ

6)Rear Bumper Same brand as above,
7) Roof rack. Nates 4X4 Roof Rack
8) 33X12.50 or 32X11.50 tire with 15X8 rims with 3.75 back space.
9) ?

I guess that is it for now. I look forward to your comments.

Thanks,
MH

Either lift should be good. RE will net closer to 5.5" idk about BDS but have heard good things about quality.
Assuming you have a 4.0 auto you can use a front driveshaft from another Jeep with 4.0 aw4 as a rear ds after the SYE.
For stiffeners check out HD offroad engineering, they're tried and true.
For sliders if you are not partial to your rockers it seems like a lot of guys are doing the 2x6 box tube rocker mod you can look that up. For bumpers I'd check out Ares fab I find them too be much better looking than most.
And as far as tires go if you are not regearing 31s will suit best, however I run 33x10.5 on stock gears and she does alright, by going 10.5" as opposed to 12.5" you save alot of weight which helps, only problem is not many companies make that size I run bfg k02s and am very pleased so far. Welcome to the forum!

Thanks Kyle for your reply. I will definitely check out those out.

Lift parts are in and I have started the tear down. I think I will replace the ball joints and hubs while I am here, seems there is a little play.

Do you guys think I should replace the axles or u-joints? I do plan on 4.56 gearing and lockers in the future.

What do you guys think about big disk brake conversion?

Started to rain so I put it away for the night.

Look forward to your help and suggestions.
