I had maybe an extra foot and a half hanging off the back. Maybe a couple inches more. Yeah I couldn't see spending over $400 on a snorkel, and I got bored lol. I actually kept my airbox too. I plastic welded the openings shut, made a hole for the piping to run to, and just sealed everything up good. I am currently working on a new top for it, but am gonna finish the lift before messing with it more.
Here are few pics from last night.
Working by myself it only look 2 hours to do the rear.
Pics are in a back-***-wards order too haha.

Extra foot should be enough if I do use the console.
Oh, and if you aren't going to use you rear swaybar, which I don't think will fit unless you get extended links. Then you can use the brackets that mount it to you axle as bar pin eliminators on your rear shocks. I did it with mine. I heard that the knocking noise I heard before I did my lift could be the design of the bar pins loading the bushing and not the shock or something like that, I didn't want to hear that noise ne more so I used the rear sway brackets.
J91, I hear you on the abs thing, when I had to replace my blower motor the damn hydraulic unit is right in the way, same thing with the front shocks. If anything goes wrong with it I'm ripping it all out.

Looking good so far! You got a great deal on that Jeep too! Ditch the rear sway-bar. With the leaf springs in the rear it isn't necessary at all. I removed mine when I installed my lift, and haven't missed it one bit.

Ok well the lift is done thanks to some help from my old man. It needs a few minor tweaks, and I need some bigger tires and better wheels for sure. My tires look little and 3 of my wheels are bent so it wobbles some at 50 mph. Like it though. Sits alot higher than I thought it would lol.

Well I got the new tires and wheels today so to the shop I went. This was the outcome. My dad and I did an alignment and everything so she is good to go. No wobble or anything now.

Well I didn't trim the rear fenders yet and idk if I will cause I have enough room to get good flex there. I trimmed the front so no more rub and more flex now. I also bedlined part of the side and underside. Oh that over spray on the door I managed to get off.
