Ya know. I was really digging the clean looking build until you took to spray painting the headlights.

Please decide that you hate it and peal that highschool girl crap off of there.

Everything else looks great!

They're replaceable, I still think it looks awesome.

Haha I really like my angry eyes.. ans its permanent hi temp paint so its nit coming off.. maybe next time I need new lights I'll consider it lol

Tried to to the tcase drop today and after struggling with the studs..using a million different things from vice grips to two bolts and finally to cutting it and drilling it... I gave up. I still cannot get this thing out. So out of all of this I am bringing it to my local machine shop/ mechanic and having him get the studs out and put the bolts that came with the transfer case drop kit in so I can go home and install it myself.

Also how long should I wait before I get an alignment?

you can do the driveway alignment yourself, but a professional alignment should be done ASAP

I'm saying should i let the springs settle for a week or so? I plan on having a professional alignment done soon.. my steering wheel is upside down now (I know I can fix it I'm just done working on this thing for a little bit so sore and **** lol) I also need my track bar adjusted and toe in/toe out

Got my tcass drop in and still have slight vibes although it helped a lot.... going to wait until.it sags a bit until I order shims. I orders some zone quick disconnects for my front sway. As of now I'm not running a rear sway and don't plan on ever running it again. The rear leafs are stiff enough. Tomorrow I need to fix my upside down steering wheel, adjust my track bar so that my driver side spring stops rubbing and check that everything is torqued down properly. I'm getting a clunking noise in the rear of the truck which I think may be a loose bolt...idk or maybe u joints. Never heard it before the lift though.

Alright today I messed with the track bar and was able to center the front diff pretty damn good. No more coil spring rubbing. Very happy about this. I also did a new inner tie rod end because the old one the threads were all messed up on when I took it off to adjust the track bar. I also got my wheel right side up, but its not perfect. Hoping when it goes in for the alignment they will be able to get it straight.

I also located the noise in the rear and its not good. The front eye leaf hole... the bolt that was stuck from the stock leaf and I cut off. Apparently the threads on the nut are really messed up and not holding the bolt to well. This nut is inside a rail in the unibody though and is impossible to get to unless you cut a small access panel, replace the nut, weld it in place and weld a piece of sheet metal over the access panel.. I dont have the equipment to do this. The nut only holds like 30lb/s of torque before it pops and lets go.. its okay to drive on because the leaf is held up in that area by the shear weight of the truck. But the bolt is shifting and popping everytime I come to a stop and everytime I take off.

Im heading over to Franks @ PCE again tomorrow to see if he can help me out. Like I said before, he has dealt with a lot of these lifts and these jeeps, he is also a damn good welder so I have faith.

After that bolt is fixed its off to get an alignment and I should be good to go. though before I get an alignment I might do two new outer tie rod ends and also throw my sway bar disconnects on. The Links on the new discos are a lot longer then my factory ones and my factory sway bar endlinks are way to tight and might even be changing the ride quality for the worse.

But yeah now that the coil inst rubbing and the driveline vibes are gone, i am really starting to enjoy the lift and this truck.

I acutally plan on dropping bye the original owners house next week to show him what i did with the truck haha. He loved my mustang, so he'll get a kick out of the jeeps transformation in just a few months. I only bought this thing in October!

no spring settling won't make a difference in your alignment, and if it does it'll be a slight one you can correct yourself.

Well I was getting a little clunk from the rear and it turned out the front eye leaf nut was stripped. So I brought it to my local shop performance custom exhaust so he could fix it.

Got the jeep on the lift and cut a little window with a plasma cutter in the unibody of the truck to get to the stripped nut. luckily frank my mechanic had a bolt that was a little longer and a matching nut. Put that through the leaf and held the nut through the little window he made, tightened it all up, tached the nut to the unibody and then welded the metal from the window back into its place. Looks like it never happened. Frank also pointed out to me my ubolts on the driver side needed to be tightened down more and did that to.. The truck drives great now. no more clunks, bumps and creaking sounds, its all good.

The last thing I need to do is get an alignment, which i will probably do next week.

I usually don't go to shops but there are some things that i d rather just pay someone to do
