Haven't updated this in awhile. Jobs been going great, still in training. Had a weird wiring issue with the jeep gauges not working, ended up being alot of mud in passenger side floor fuse box. Its been shifting good ever since then too. Winterfest just ended, almost didnt go this year but it ended up being the best one yet. Got a bunch of pictures. Unfortunately I'm not scott, so I'm too lazy to go through them in order for you guys. So heres some of the hilights. I'll link the whole album if anyone wants.

So well I did some things, and some stuff. Jobs been going great, Jeep hasn't been a daily in awhile, and the daily I was driving had alot wrong with it that I did not care to fix, and kept dying on me. So I finally bought a vehicle. I wanted a BRAND new one but didn't want to pay the price of a new one. Its the same exact body style though so **** it.
Picked up a 4th gen ram. Already had after market headlights, led tinted tail lights, window tints, blacked out wheels and emblems, and color matched body panels. Pretty much loaded inside and out, Ram boxes and all kinds of ****. Debadged it too already just no pics of that.

So then I had another terrible idea. The guy with the big white xj has been telling me to get big tires for about 4 months now... Then he texts me tuesday telling me he'll sell my his 38.5s for CHEAP. Stupidly I say yes and order wheels to his shop, Saturday I went out to Aresfab shop to hang out and picked them up.
They measure about 36" because of wear, But its 38.5x14.5r15 TSL SX. Yes I already know, bye bye dana 30. Going to truss, new brackets, and chromoly shaft it and leave it 355 gears so it wont have as much power, and see how that goes until I can find and start a real axle build. Rears just going to be welded and chromo shafts. Fronts already locked.
Looks badass though...

Had to cut extension off my rear bumper already. Those were messed up anyway though
rear doesn't rub at all amazinly. Still want to bumpstop it for full compression though.
Front needs cutting. This is on the bumpstop though

Going to have to modify the Slider, and fender armor... Big tire problems

Deleted my ac this weekend. Starting on dual E fans and relocated alt... Also want to relocate air filter to cowl panel... Heres the alternator bracket on top of ac i modifed

Sold the 33s, Sold the 38.5s Have my whole front end off was cutting down rock sliders for more tire clearence. Still never welded the caps on.
Absolute maximum I could cut out.
So right now its sitting on a set of bald stockers I borrowed from a buddy... Looking pretty pathetic...

Tore out the radiator and alt and Ac pump and brackets off the motor. Have to replace radiator from last wheeling trip still anyway, and relocating alt those had to get moved. Also need to fix some leaky trans lines.

While I was there I decided to finally put my oil filter adapter back on and fix the leaky pressure sensor and oil filter (this picture was taken after I brake-cleaned it all off)

New filter, and adapter installed

Ended up braking part of the alternator relocation bracket I made, so I had to remake the alternator part from a spare bracket. Cut the pully for mechanical fan completely off. Going to run Dual/triple E fans in the end.

Just warrantied out my radiator, picked up a new power steering cap (old one leaked) new breathers for valve cover, some trans line and hose clamps, and some other things while everythings apart.
Ordered 5 of these and center caps

I ordered 35x12.5r15 Goodyear MTR kevlars. 5 of them with the tire warranties from discount tire.

I need to see how you did your although relocation and how your efan setup turns out. I've wanted to move my alternator forever but didn't really want to compromise the reliability of the mech fan

Hopefully it'll be at the jeep and greet this weekend. Got moved shift this week and more hours haven't had a chance to mess with jeep since sunday night. Hopefully bust *** saturday and get it there. I wont have the full E-fan setup done then it'll just be 1 efan for the time being.

Got it all back together saturday! Finished alternator relocation up (not really it turns out), Fixed trans lines, put front end back on, rebuilt my rear drums (pads had 0 life on them left brake pedal felt like crap), got 35s mounted (Discount put them on backwards had to go back... then they aired them up to 60 psi for some reason...)

My truck and my jeep

I need to do some grinding and move alternator back about a half inch. I threw a belt this morning. And replace a washer pump, mount my spare in the back, and replace a tierod end and do an alignment. Shes doing pretty good otherwise. Oh yea need shift solenoids too.

Went to cliffs with jon, scott, and tim, Bent my steering but didnt break anything else. Didnt take many pictures. Rented a u haul to drag her down. Also had my half doors on for awhile finally, theyre just skins no fab work besides cutting them in half lol.

Bent one ton steering

Put some lights in the hatch for reverse lights

Cool picture out in the field

Bent steering and needing longer rear shocks was limiting me a tad. Still pretty good though.

Finally got rid of the back seat, Rachet strapped tire down up front, mounted hi lift and called it a a day. I plan on building a plat form where the rear seat was before for a storage box and a fuel cell, then mount spare in cargo area.

Cleaned her up pretty good today. Dash and such are still all muddy, but I cleaned the outside, and inside windows and seats a bit...

Yesterday morning I had the great Idea of going to Funks trailer sales in Morris Illinois and check some trailers out. We've bought from them before. But I ended up getting a 14' 18 Foot Steel deck car hauler, Rated at 7000 pounds. Its brand new just they never sold it for whatever reason. Picked it up at a great price. Finally have my own truck trailer and jeep...
