96 money pit
this is my 96 cherokee sport (used to be a police vehicle in philly) i scooped up for $300 with 170k on it. it ran strong no knock or lifter tick tranny didnt slip and the np242 shifted through all ranges just fine. the only problem was the hole in the floor above the muffler and the rear brakes needed to be changed to pass inspection. i bought it with intent to sell and walk away with a grand in my pocket. soon decided i was going to keep it and the money spending began...
the day i picked it up

i decided it was lift time and didnt want to spend a grand on a vehicle i bought for $300 it just didnt seem right so i did some research and decided to do a junk yard run and in one trip i scored zj v8 coils and mj leaf packs with shackles. figured i had enough to work with for a 3 inch bastard pack for right around $100 (including the $35 fee for the guy at the yard cut the frame onthe mj with the torch) i used the zj v8 coils with energy suspension 1.75 spacer and the cherokee main leaf and second third and overload spring from the mj packs and decided not to use the shackles and put me around 3-3.5
