96 Cherokee Build Up.
What size tire & wheel do I need? I have a stock size jeep but want the wheels and tires to extended farther then the chassis. I'm thinking I can go with a tire size of 30x10 with a wheel size of 16x10 w/ 4.5" backspacing. Would this work? And would it extend out from the chassis?

you will learn this soon, click search and type backspacing. There are a lot of writeups there. People get loud if you don't search before you ask.
Anyway, just figured i'd ad that. And that should work, but do not use wheel spacers because most people don't like them and if you wheel it can mess stuff up. Are you aware of how backspacing works? the 4.5 should give you a wider stance, and 30 inch tires will fit just fine, but if you are lifting(*judging from the title, sounds like you may), then i wouldn't waste my money on those tires, and wait to get the larger tires, but backspacing, yes.
