Default 96 Cherokee
I'm thinking about buying a 96 Cherokee, the only thing is that it has 258k. No leaks, the dealership just replaced a u joint and their replacing a trasz cooler line.

Just trying to see if anyone out there has any helpful info on that particular year. Also the mileage worries me a bit.

my 91 has almost 290k and it runs great, just has the common rear main seal leak. 4.0's will run damn near forever with regular maintenance

That is some really high mileage, but as already stated the 4.0s run forever if they've been taken care of.

How much is the stealership asking?
