sgi came back to me and told me that my vehichle has a value of $4500... sooooo they will spend up to $3400 to fix it so its looking good that there going to fix it

thats good news mate, do you get a choice of where they take the car for repairs?
my thinking is, maybe they will install uprated parts [steering stablizer etc] if you talk to them nicely

yes i do and the good thing is all i do is pay the differences so if the one they were going to put in costs 60 and i want one for 100 then i just give them 40 bucks difference..... in hopping the lower control arms are bent and i can upgrade those

Man, that's a tough question....They are both popular wheels. If it was my choice, I would go with the soft 8's.

so not anything new on the xj yet since im still waiting for it to be fixed.... but i did order some parts for the lift kit and got 4 used bfg's with 40% left 31x10.5r15s for 120 bucks

now im waiting for insurance

so i have officially order the full rc 3" lift
got a cb for christmas, and just ordered a 4' cb antenna
got some cup holders for 5 bucks at the salvage yard
and found some roof rack bars so i will install the other rack tommorrow

so ill get the lift on once sgi fixes it... suposed to start friday
meanwhile i rolled over to 210000

so look what show'd up haha it kinda sucks since it goes into the shop monday i cant put it on oh and that news... its goin in monday to get fixed and may take 2-3 weeks but then i get to put all my stuff on

so it has been at the shop for a week now and they just started stripping it down today so im got pissed at them for that... on a better note my antenna arived and i ordered my rims, they should be here by friday so ill get those mounted... just need to find a cheap spare 31 for my new spare rim

oh and i decided on the d windows since they were cheaper, work out to $67 a wheel including center caps

$44 bucks and got these mounted today

plus i got a tire carrier off a bronco 2 to bolt onto my roof rack

parts are on order now so they should be puttin it togeather this week.... hopefully ready by friday

good luck with the body work, good to hear they didn't write it off! i like the d windows myself (i have the simu-lock flat blacks, looks good on an XJ)

so i got it back yesterday and put on the cb antenna... i'll get better pics tommorrow.. and of my easy custom bracket

and today i put on the other part of the rook rack with the tire carrier, which i'll also get pics of tommorrow.... since my bro is helping me put it in he's going to get good pics with his camera
