93 Cherokee Sport
Hey guys, I have wanted to start one of these threads for a while now and finally got around to doing it. I have done a few mods that are worth showing off so I thought why not, I'm only 19 so money is a big issue with this build but here it is. I didn't take many pictures along the way, sorry!!
Started out by putting in a new sound system as the front two speakers were blown. Kenwood deck, MTX 5.25" speakers in the front, Infinity 5.25" speakers in the back.
A week after I bought the jeep my muffler broke off at the cat due to some rust so I decided to go ahead and get myself a flowmaster super 44 instead of just going stock.
Picked up some driving lights from princess auto, cheap only about $80 but they work pretty well.
I hated the factory brushed aluminum rims so I took the wheels off, masked them, sanded, painted them black and clear coated them. Did that 3 months ago and they're still holding up real nice.
The final modification that I did was trim the fenders so I could fit my 31x10.50xr15 bfgoodrich long trail ta tires, picked them up for a steal, all used at 50% tread. I used cheap $5 pipe insulation as my new fender flares haha. Looks alright I think.
The day I brought her home:

I crashed my jeep in august and the bumper got pretty wrecked so my buddy offered me his old chrome bumper off his 89. I took it, did some diagonal cuts on it and painted it black.
It looks crooked but it's just because of when I crashed it cracked the front clip which moved the headlight fixture down.

Finally got my 33x12.50s on backspaced rims!
I'm going to paint the rims completely black and eventually get better newer tires, these ones are just temporary.
I'm hoping to get my 3" lift in less than a month so I will post up some photos when that's done.
You can probably tell this is going to be a low COG build.

Thanks!

It's just pipe insulation, you can get it at any home depot in the plumbing section. It comes with an adhesive already on it so you don't have to use glue or anything.

Thanks for letting me know, I actually just bought 2 bfg mud terrains for really cheap with much better tread that I am going to mount on 2 of those rims and use them in the rear. If you notice that top tire is different from the other 3 so I will check the others tomorrow.

Finally got my Rough Country 3 inch lift with add-a-leaves.
Installing it on monday!
I'm just going to run it with the stock LCA's and track bar for now and see how it goes.

Finished lifting the front 3 inches, took a lot longer than I thought it would. Sitting on 33x12.50s.
Started on the rear but it got dark and I just decided to work on it tomorrow.
I completely forgot to take photos while I was doing the front, sorry.

After running into some problems I finally got the add-a-leafs installed.
All I have to do now is line up the axle and install the U bolts. As for the shocks, I broke 2 of the 4 bolts right off so I am going to have to drill through them and re tap with bigger screws.
