I recently picked up a 92 XJ Limited. This will by my 3rd XJ but my only current one. Pretty much just making it into a fun toy for the dirt, creeks, mud and hills around here.

196k miles (rebuilt at 180k)
Inline 6 4.0HO
4x4 Selec-Trac
AW4 Automatic Transmission
Dana 30 Front
Dana 35C Rear
3.55 rear axle ratio


My priority is getting it mechanically sound before taking it out.

When I bought it:

So far I've done/installed:
Radiator
Thermostat
Water Pump
Coolant/Heater hoses
Passenger side fender
new bumper caps
oil pressure sending unit
all coolant senders & sensors (had to do a custom build for the gauge sender)
Roof rack
50" LED Light bar
Snorkel Kit

Removed damaged fender.


My jeep didn't have the temperature gauge sending unit where it was supposed to be so I extended the cable, built it into this setup. Works great!

I still have a ton of work to do but having fun with it so far. Much easier to work on the my 2000 WJ.

My upcoming projects are:
Run better wiring for LED Light bar (PO had wiring in place but its a little small).
Fix headliner
fix power locks (they lock but don't unlock) any ideas?
install CB and other radios
new coolant tank
new washer fluid tank
new rear tires
new rear seatbelt (driver side)
run new wiring to grille and rear for small lights
fix leaking sunroof... (debating if I should just seal it or figure out why and where its leaking)...
