Sorry for the delay folks. It's dead of winter here. (-51F at my house this morning) and since I don't have a heated garage, there's not alot of stuff that I can do.

I did get my Wilderness roof rack on. It is a VERY nice and sturdy rack.
Then I actually just paid someone to replace the orings in my oil filter adapter (I was using 1/2 a quart a day). Other than that, this is what it looks like for now.

Please Santa....send me some warmth....

Here are the switches I ordered, all with BLUE running lights and GREEN 'on' indicators.

Once I have the switches we'll be installing a 40" single row Rigid LED bar under the roof rack, some Quads on the windshield pillars using Detours pillar mounts and some SRTs on the rear of the rack for backup/jackass lights.
Can't wait!

Finally warmed up as well. It actually RAINED the other day which was scary as hell on our frozen highways. But I'll take it over the -50.
Getting ichy to do some work on the XJ.....come on spring!
You're not alone buddy, I just can't wheel through the snow with any real confidence right now so I'm kinda unable to support you. I live on base but I've been posting in another thread trying to find some actual trails or rocks to play around rather than the boring mud of 9 mile
just read a thread and do most of your ordering threw amazon. your shipping will be a lot cheaper. cant rem the thread but the guy lives in Alaska... Just trying to help a fellow jeeper.....

Not so much and 'update' as a testimonial. Putting that roof rack on was the BEST THING I have ever done.
One of my main gripes about sticking to an XJ was that I had very limited hauling space, and up here in the Great White North we always seem to need to haul something.
I've been using the crap out of this rack, hauling everything from hay, straw and feed to lumber. But I have to say the most impressive thing was hauling nearly 500lbs of bagged coal. This thing is a BEAST!

Highly recommend Garvin racks to anyone whose asking.....yes they are pricey....but SO worth it.

Love the build dude. Always wanted to move to Alaska. But I would have to have a heated garage lol.
Something else I noticed.... you found a nicer MJ in Alaska then I did in NC.
