Went wheeling on Saturday at Redbird SRA. It was my first snow wheeling trip and what a learning experience it was. Early on in the trip I slid into a tree denting the fender, removing my mirror, denting the a-pillar, denting the door, and cracked the windshield. But good thing I hit the tree and didn't slide off the steep slope and probably roll the thing on it's lid. Its kind of a bummer, because I have quite a bit of time invested in my body and paint. Oh well, if I was scared of damage I wouldn't wheel. Here are some pics.

Yea, it really does suck. But at least it didn't roll. It was a heart pounding slow slide into the tree. I am really glad it caught me. The body damage will most likely stay and be a conversation piece.

Since we have had snow, our little yard tractor can't pull a trailer full of wood and get any traction. So....now my rig is a wheeler/wood hauler.

This is all quality oak and cherry. So its heavy wood. Gives you an idea of how stiff my RC springs are.

And my lil buddy.

Spent some time at RedBird with 'goofyjeeper' on here. Had a great time, but my Jeep started having a charging issue. We had to jump it half a dozen times.

Also a bolt holding the front DS to the axle yolk sheered and caused this.

We both had a great time and learned a few things!

Thank you! I used a light Ford tractor gray on the top, but for some reason it turned out more white.

Some pics of my next project. They won't be done tomorrow or the next day. Anyone know what it will end up being?

Haha! Don't start that stuff yet. I need a little more practice before my welding will be worth anything. Thanks dude. Get yours down here and we will build on yours!
