89 xj slow build
Hi everybody I'm new here and this is my first Jeep so bear with me as i learn along the way and I will have quite a few questions at times as well.
I got this xj with 208k on the clock, runs strong, was told by the previous owner that its only been locked into 4 wheel drive a handful of times, the interior is in great shape aside from the drivers seat being ripped, the passenger door and back door hinges are still stiff and you can tell they have barely been used. It has had the pressurized cooling system removed and radiator has been changed out, other than that this thing is completely untouched, it is the limited with all power options. Well on to some pictures...

At what size lift do i need a sye? Im wanting to do 4.5" with 33s but if im gonna have to get the sye for 4.5" i might as well go 6.5 or 7.5", also which is better, long arm or short arm? Advantages/disadvantages to both? As stated im new to jeeps and have always had gm with ifs and this is a completely different ballpark
