Default 89 xj project

89 cherokee 4.0 auto,got this bad boy for $500 bucks. its gonna be a slow budget minded build. Here id had it for about a month

i have put a stering column in it for $70 bucks junk yard find. I ordered that precut tint off ebay i think it was like $25 bucks great stuff for the money.
turned out pretty good.


ordered my zone 3"lift, bout 2 weeks agogot started on it,



turning the jeep around to do the front the wife snaped a shot lol, ready for the drag strip


after the job is done not to bad.



cost as of right now
$500 jeep
$200 trac bar and some other odd and ends
$70 steering column
$275 zone lift
$25 tint
total so far 1070

Nice work. Im kind of interested in that pre-cut tint now.. How hard is it to put on?

Looks good so far. Also looks to be going fast. My xj is an 89 also.

That tint is great. My tint was done at a tune-up shop nearby. I'm looking to get a darker tint though. I may look into that. Have you had any peeling yet? I don't want my windows looking like them trashy cars with the peeling purple tint.

not yet but i did just install it tho so i'll keep you updated on it.

dude this is a nice beginning, and is giving me a good idea on how much i'm going to be spending/doing in the long run. I was about to buy the precut tint too, but had rolls of 2.5% laying around and just started doing the worst job of cutting!!! the windows are harder than u think, have to tip my hat to who does it professionally.
