2012 WK2 Grand Cherokee Overland "build"
call it a build but itll be a long time before anything gets done... lol... traded in the Z71 and got a new GC cause were workin on a kid and my family lives in MN and WI so were gonna need a vehicle to make long trips in or going out with friends since most everything fun is a hour away... lol... anyways heres the specs on mine...
White overland 2x4 (couldnt see spending another $5k for 4x4 when itll NEVER go offroad lol)
Saddle leather interior
remote start
full navigation
in dash DVD
electronic AC/heat
XM with recording abilities up to 6700 songs
bluetooth handsfree
heated seats front and rear
cooled seats front
full tow package with 7 pin electric brake system as well as 4 pin (with the harness in the glovebox to get a brake controller... has OD button as well as a uphill tow button for pulling heavy stuff up hills (like a electronic 2 low basically), locked rear end and its self leveling...
panoramic sunroof (one big one for front and back seats)
Rear seats recline like fronts and fold away
Automatic bright light dimmer when oncoming headlights are sensed
almost 400HP Hemi
14in disc brakes
20in OEM wheels
super duper cool flashlight in the cargo area that charges itself
and i had them throw in the roof cross rails so i can run a basket later...
mods ill do...
K&N drop in filter
aftermarket muffler (nothing else)
roof basket but no lights or any of that stuff... may not even stay up there all the time...
bicycle hook mounts for the roof cross bars
once these tires wear out (forever from now) ill run a little more aggressive AT
need some way to get tv(s) in the back but running off the dvd player in the front (hope its got aux video outputs in the back)
mod the dvd player to work going down he road...
tinted windows evenly around it (may already be that way i dunno... wifes had it all day and i havent seen it in daylight yet... lol)
nothing else till the warranty runs out probly lol...
ill get pics tomorrow but for now these are the only two i have... lol...
and i guess ill tell yall on here cause im sure someone will ask and jeep people are curious but i was out the door at about $49k... ouchy... lol

Overland
I didn't know you could get a 2 wheel drive overland? I thought overland's were maxed out with just about every option and 4wd was standard.

only $760 a month man lol... course me and the wife split it so its not so bad...
lol thanks man... hit I75 north and ill give ya a ride man... lol
thanks man... we will see what comes from it but i dont plan to do much nor can i... maybe when the warranty is up in 5 years ill take and have it tuned... but even then i can see doing much more with it... my Z71 i cammed and all... but this is kinda family vehicle so not much point in breaking into a motor any time down the road.... i wanted the srt8 but at $62k and no hitch i couldnt do it... lol...
i didnt either... they only had two more GC overlands on the lot... both were 2x4 and one was a V6... so i guess its more of a appearance package then anything... its suppose to be the step below the srt8 then subtract 4x4 and you have mine... i dunno how you lift something thats self leveling anyways... sounds pricey and way to much work... lol...
