are you gonna keep it flat or angle it up?
its only gonna be the width of the doors or the whole slider?
the one pictured looks flat and only the width of the doors. that why I ask
I'm not real sure yet.... I need to look up some and see if I can find one I really like but probably just do it flat and it's only an inch short of the ends on my slider. So it goes past the doors for sure

Well heres what I landed on for the sliders. Gonna bend another rail up tomorrow and hopefully get them welded on. Don't mind the trash can its the only thing tall enough since all my magnets are at work
I love the way you did the Rear Fenders to fit 37s, I've been trying to plan out something similar on mine for a while now.
Couple questions for you:
1) You stretched the rear 4" and left the Gas tank in the stock location? The 9" housing clears?
2) Whats the measurement from the ground to your drip rail?
3) Where do you keep your spare?
Thanks man! It took some work to not screw the cut up to bad but at least I filled most the gap with that shock tower lol
Now to answer your questions
1. The tank is still in the stock spot with a skid and the only time I've hit it was when I was "jeepspeeding" my jeep. On the trail I don't hit it under articulation. I'll post some pictures when I get home of how close it is.
2. The measurement is 71" from ground to the rail.
3. I don't always have a spare but last trip I put it in the back with the seat folded down. It fits laying flat

Thanks, right now were sitting at about the same lift and I've stretched my rear back 1", but I'm looking at an additional 2 or 3 and adding shock towers.
Currently my 35 is on the roof but a 37 is just to much for that. I was thinking about doing an angled mount behind the seat as I don't want it off the bumper.

So yeah it looks like it would hit but it doesn't haha and you should check out jcr for your tire carrier idea because they just came out with a cool mount set up for the back of a Cherokee to fit a 37
Since you have an early model XJ, your fuel pump is in the "front" of the tank vs the top as in the late model XJ.
Be mindful of that when you stretch your axle.

A stock XJ axle housing is probably not as deep as a F9 on top so clearance will vary. Be mindful of this.

What did you paint the axles with? Holding up well?
I used rustoleum hammered paint. black on the axles and silver on the steering and stuff and its great! super tough hasn't chipped off or anything besides when I hit it with a rock haha. toughest spray paint I've ever used though
