Where did you order the tank from? I've seen some Spectre ones online. I need to replace mine since the plastic cover is hiding a dent on the bottom.

I'm liking the vacuum guage so far. Pretty neat addition to the jeep. I'm thinking about getting a 3 pod guage holder for the a pillar to hold vacuum/oil pressure/trans temp guages.
Also I got a can of blaze orange dip in today! Going to be dipping the badges on my toolbox! (off topic but still)

No, I don't lick fish.
I've been wanting to add a vac guage for mine too... I've also been considering a 3 pod pillar guage, but I was going to do a vac, trans temp (pre cooler), and trans temp (post cooler) - got the idea from an article in JP magazine - shows how the trans is running and how well it's being cooled
Does your factory oil pressure guage not work?

So - about this plastidipping - I have a set of wheels w/ tires mounted on them that I'm going to be restoring and selling... is the plasti-dip coating a durable enough finish that it wouldn't get scratched or scuffed off or should I use paint instead? I'm going to be painting them black so it wouldn't be a problem for me to just use regular paint, but I've heard plasti-dip is much easier to work with... worries me a little bit when I hear people talk about just being able to "peel it off" when you're sick of the look.

Sorry for the hi-jack.

I plastidipped my mirrors, and you figure they get a lot of wind/rain on them... if you do end up scratching the coating off of the wheels, you can use paint thinner to "melt" the plastidip so there aren't any edges, then re-spray the area.

Don't worry about it Idc.. But yeah you should definitely dip the wheels. Alot of people are into the black wheel look right now and it will hide blemishes

Ever since I put the vacuum guage in I'm noticing two things. Both while the jeep warms up. 1= the vacuum guage jumps all over, and 2=a slight miss... Again these both are noticed while the jeep is cold until it gets about halfway to operating temp.
Any ideas? No cel, just annoying
