2000 xj "Mud Rat"
My friends brother had an xj, we hung out a few times and i eventually saw it and rode in it. I fell in love.
So about a year later, i started looking for my first "car". Just so happened that my uncle had flipped his 93 country xj about 3 months before. I went down and talk to him about it and he told me i could have the engine out of it for $250! I was working on a farm over summer so i told him i'd be back down in a week or 2 with the money. and i was. The process of getting it out the woods.
this is afeter we got it up behind the garage until i found a body.
Sorry about the bad photos they were taken with a very crappy phone.

Anyways that sat around for another month or 2 then dad had a friend that had a 2000 jeep cherokee sport with a blown motor that she was trying to get rid of. She told me she'd give it to me for $250 if i went a picked it up. I took the offer!
Got the truck and trailer ready
Got it pulled out the bushes
Then loaded it up on the trailer and on the way to its new home
Its home!
The interior was Pretty nasty. Mold, dirt, just trashed.

This will be my DD but will also be going off-road often. It is a 2000 jeep cherokee sport. 4 door, 4wd. The Engine is out of a 1993 jeep cherokee country. Everything bolted right up. We used the wiring and Alternator out of the 2000 jeep. So there were no problems with the wiring. I am very happy with everything so far. Except for the exhaust system, i have read that it was made according to the california emission control standards. It has 2 mini cats right after the headers. This has caused a few issues but are fixed now.
plans:
4.5" RC lift
32s (havent decided what type yet)
New rims(also undecided)
400 watt amp (waiting to go in)
12" sub (possibly 2)
Flower master super 44 muffler
smoked lights
news eats covers and floor matts (there are none right now)
and more stuff i cannot think of right now because i am getting sleepy

I didnt have much to choose from at advanced auto So i just chose what i thought would look best. I was really hoping for a more shiny grey but its no big deal. Either way it looks a lot better then it would have if i wouldn't have painted it at all so i'm happy with it.

Good showing sir! I like that you swapped over the 1st gen header panel & grill/lights. Looks really neat. Got anymore pictures of that? Are you running the 2000's coil packs and intake? I'm assuming so.
