Default Line-x

Got my parts back from Line-X of Lancaster, Ohio....
I'm not going to give prices on these... Deal with it.. lol
Some pieces got special attention and had to be encapsulated in order for a proper adhesion...
They work with me on prices as I am a regular customer and my prices would not be comparable to any other Line-X dealer for a first time customer.... UV protection on all pieces....
Also, new hardware for the front and rear fenders/liners...
Will wash the Jeep tomorrow.. (70 in OHIO in January!)
Let it dry a couple of days and put it all back together.
cheers!

Fender hardware

Radio Bezel

Door sills

License plate light cover

Rear cargo sill

Bumper end caps

Bumper

Fenders

I like it.
Have been wondering how nuts to go with the Line-X myself.
Love how my door moldings, roof skid strips, mud flaps, and running boards turned out.
Bumper caps and the bumpers are under consideration for me too.
Also the door sills. Be curious how well those hold up for you.
Cargo sill was never in the running but my XJ has a Camel interior so....
Undecided on the fender flares and the license plate cover was never considered.
Might have to rethink that last one. LOL.

I'll have to get the center console Line-Xed soon, and the dash when the heater core goes out...
but first is a front bumper.... that's next on the list that keeps growing instead of getting smaller.... (that's what she said)
leaning toward JCR vanguard prerunner...

I don't know how your Line-X works but mine the more you do at the same time the cheaper it gets.
In a way.
Still was not cheap but.......

I like that a lot.
Your Jeep came with that cargo cover in the back?
I never knew they came in black until a couple days ago.
The couple I have seen before matched the interior. Camel, Agate, Mist Gray, etc.
Did you get the spare tire cover with the D-Rings that goes with that?
Space saver spare or full size one?

Mine did not but I managed to get my hands on a full size spare one in Camel with the tire cover. The tire cover comes with D-Rings on it to secure the cover on that side.
Thing is I run a '98 GC 5.9 cover that I love. And the one that uses the cover is a fuzzy one. So I had to rig something up. For some reason my Jeep came with 4 tie downs in it. I am not talking about the 4 on the floor.
Higher up which lets me use the straps I rigged to run it. The real goal is to see if I can get a '96 down retractable one in there.

Default Bumper

Got my new bumper! Trying to keep a clean look with nothing in front of the grill...
Started prepping for Line x..
Sanded down all the sharp edges, covered most of the inside welds on the inside (where I thought water would sit) with JB Weld, for nice smooth channel for water to flow.
Filled in the JCR logo and below the tow hook tabs and sanded down...
Will get it sprayed next week or the following...

Dropped the new bumper off at at Line-X...
Got the old bumper off, cut some metal and plastic, prepped all surfaces, installed the uniframe tie ins and JCR steering box brace....

I had to figure out something to do with the stupid vacuum ball... my solution... cut the brackets off, sand it down, paint it, and throw it in the corner by the AC collector...
