Welded half the floor patch in this afternoon, and took some pictures!







The steel for my rockers...

 

Got one rocker almost done today, then ran out of grinding discs, and mig wire..... also cut some steel to replace the wicked sketchy looking T-case drops.

Didn't get a lot done today. Finished welding the passenger side rocker, then ground it all down. (sorry no pics) Went out and got some sand so I can sandblast them, and patched in front of the driver side rear wheel well. All that's left to do now is weld in the last floor patch. Patch the inner rocker on the drivers side, then I can put the rockers on! After that's all done I'll send it to the mechanic to get it running!

Well its been a little while since I've posted on here. I got all the patches done and the rockers welded on, all I have to do now is body work then its being sent out to the mechanic. I'm hoping it will be on the road this month. It's been a little tough since I don't have a job at the moment, but I went down to New Hampshire and did some painting and got some money to pay to get it running. Then I'll be getting some shocks and lifting it soon after its on the road. Also I bought a moped for $25 that had been hit by a car... Don't judge me... haha.

Well I haven't done much lately, I've saved up about $800 to put into it though. Today I did some grinding on the welds on the rockers, going to do the body work tomorrow and put the interior back in tomorrow then it will be off to the mechanic to get it running early next week. I'm hoping I have money left over after the mechanic to get some other stuff for it, I definitely want JCR bumpers and cragar soft 8's, so hopefully I'll be able to get either the wheels or a bumper. Also I'm getting a set of 31" bfg all terrains off a friend for $100, so I'll hopefully have those on soon, and I'll be sure to get some pics tomorrow once its all back together.

 

Vacuumed the carpet out, put tiger hair on the rockers today, I didn't get done as much as I wanted because I got stuck in my grandmothers driveway.... That was fun. Anyway here are some pics of the carpet, the camera died before I could get pictures of the rockers, I'll get some tomorrow hopefully.

Bought some lights at harbor freight for $30, hopefully they're not junk, if anyone has experience withe them let me know if you liked them.

 

 

I have 5 five of the 6" ones and they've held up fine. No experience with the ones you got though.

 

Yeah, I was looking at those but they 55w, these were the only 100w, I'm hoping they hold up good. Are yours bright enough?
