I fixed my little shake this weekend. The only problem i came across was that the threads on the MOOG ball joint (ES140R), were to long for the threads in the track bar.

Shakes gone though.

Yeah i saw that! My fix was a quick fix.

Did you have to get the drop pitman arm?

I was looking at this track bar, because it uses the stock bracket. And i wouldnt have to use a drop pitman arm.

That picture was taken at a state park (silver lake sand dunes). The flag is mandatory for all vehicles that go on the dunes. The stupid red pad is just to keep the flag from smashing into my grill/hood.

ahh I see. We dont have any official parks where we can wheel around here. The only laws they have are "Keep the hell off crown land" so we get stuck with certain spots where we can wheel, usually unmaintained roads that are deemed still accessible by the public

i chose to run a dropped arm i didn't have too...that track bar is cheap $100 or so and is a straight bolt in good for 4-6in of lift and offs that weak ball joint tightened up the frontend

Well my first car was a 1987 Jetta GLI 16v... That started a little habit.

1. 1987 Jetta GLI 16v
2. 1990 Jetta GL 8v
3. 1997 Jetta GLX VR6
4. 1995 Jetta GLX VR6
5. 1987 Scirocco 16v

I also started messing around with forced induction around that time too. A friend and I made 240whp out of a 2.0 x-flow long block, Using a turbo from a Saab 93 and a homemade manifold.

Fun times!

SWEET!!! What were the specs on the turbo setup on the VRT? My Ex had a 01 1.8t jetta automatic (slushbox). Im not a fan of the mk4's for some reason.
