Its now a 2001 Cherokee build. Coming back from the dead.
So I have this 00 Cherokee that I have had for a while now, and I am going to start doing work on it because it has given me no other choice, I have an engine out of a 97 Cherokee country that I am going to rebuild and change over to the coil. I am only looking to spend about 500 max on the rebuild as I will be doing it myself. Any suggestions on what kind of kits to use, or performance parts for the engine. I am also currently switching the entire interior over from the 97 country into my 00 sport.( the country has the wood trim) Including the dash, I had it line-x coated as well, with all the screws put back in there is no squeek.
Sooo yeah thats a big nothing burger, now its a 2001 build, anyone know how to change the title of my post header?
*EDIT*
Well it is 04/04/2024 and that Jeep didn't work out, life came fast and I am now working on a Jeep that I have had sitting for a long time. Posted pics below, Gonna Start working on the Jeep Hopefully getting it going by Winter.

This is a Jeep ive had sitting for 6 yrs. Just started working on it. Life sometimes has other plans.
Body is straight.
Im trying to remove the bolts for this door, huge pain in the *** any thoughts on how to remove them? Ive been using a penatrant to try loosening the bolts but they are super stubborn already broke 2 bits T40 size.

Parts found in storage, damn its been 6 yrs I've been holding onto this stuff.
T-Case with SYE exploded, in 2015, I've got the sads.
The hole that Appeared out of nowhere. You might be able to see the cracks on the case.
Another angle that shows the cracks.
The new/used T-Case I'm going to build NP231J. With a new SYE.
I have like 3 Transmissions, this one was beat up a bit when the T case exploded. But still runs good just needs a couple new sensors. If you zoom into the back left side you will see the sensor that was smashed.
I have 3 fuel tanks these are 2 of the spares.
Bwahahaha, yes the fake wood dash. Even though they peeled the bottom on accident after peeling off the tape. So I had my interior Line-X'd if you look at the side you might notice. Once its all installed you will never hear a squeaks.
Showing the Line-X
Just random parts.
More parts from a couple Jeeps I owned one blew up, the other was a parts rig I should have kept the body.
My seats that I'm planning on getting re-upholstered, and having aftermarket heated seats added for those cold winters. I'll post what I get when I get them.
Not sure if this is a Dana 35 or 30-HP, how would I be abld to tell?
Not a Jeep, but I still rolled this baby 4 times. 1998 Suburban.
Another angle, I was riding with my guardian Angel that night.
Okay back to Jeep Cherokee Parts that were Line-X'd.
The plastic doesn't break when Line-X'd especially the tailgate plastic that always breaks.
More parts Line-X'd.
Ok done posting pics but yea I have like 2 spare Jeeps in Parts. All interior plastics was Line-X'd.

The bolts are ruined. Tomorrow the rest of the doors come off then to the sand blaster and then Line-X shop to get painted.

I'm looking to upgrade my rear Axle, to a Ford 8.8, & I found this link to an old post back in 2008. Lots of good info. Posting it to save the link.

Holy hell what a chore, so after messing with the last bolt in the lower part in the back, finally got it too move but stripped it out, then I had the bright Idea of using vice grips to hold the bolt while I rotated the door using the pallate to hold it from falling, having to reset the vice grips every rotation of the door. 😑
The vice grips holding the bolt head.
After about 20 min its finally off.

Finally got all the doors off. Next going to get them Line-X'd then put back on. Gonna replace the glass with factory tinted glass.
Finally got both sides of the doors off.
After some Penatrating oil and a hammer with vise-grips the doors are all off going to go with the quick disconnect setup, when they go back on.
Got the busted driver's seat out and had to have a look under the carpet.
Damn cancer it seems to only be surface I checked under the Jeep with a hole punch nothing came through, so I doused it with WD-40 and thats where I stopped today. It sucks not having a garage to work in.

I had these crappy tints in my '00 that the PO put in.
Was checking about getting them redone but decided to just swap over to Factory Privacy Glass.
Rear doors and cargo are easy.
Had my glass guy do the hatch glass.
Thing that made that simple was at the time the OEM hatch glass molding could still be bought.
While I decided to not tint the fronts it has been said that a 20% is a good match.
