So I recently traded my little suzuki samurai for a 93 xj well i must say that little sammi was a hell of a toy but after having a ford b2 nothing beats american 4x4...

soo im starting my xj build while i have a semester off from school and well so far Ive had to replace my starter, icv and some other electrical things but now I can finally afford to start buying parts. I will be buying a 3in rc aal lift kit this week when I get paid and hopefully have time to install over the weekend... but now I have another issue for some reason I can only get air hot, cold to blow out of the defrost vent and not the others? would anybody be able to help me out with this because im not really an a/c pro haha.

I also have some led strips to use as rock lights left over from my b2 and will be buying projector headlights, and fabing up a new front bumper

Sounds like you are headed in the right direction with your xj build...Sammy's bring a good price out here if they are in good condition.

The air issue is most likely a vacuum leak. I had a small hole in one of the vacuum lines right at the fire wall. Plugged the hole and it works now.

they do too here but its only a few people that are interested in them so its a hard sell plus normally all the ones around here are already built or being parted out

Strange, I just sold a Sammy and replaced it with an XJ as well. Had an '88 Sammy on 35's. Having taken that one too far to actually drive on a daily basis, I am planning a much more modest build with an '00 XJ. Oh, and people really will pay a premium for a decent Sammy. I sold mine as a rusted out trail rig that you couldn't legally register in this state for over twice what I had to pay for the XJ.

nice was it the 88 or 88.5 i had an 88 with 33s too bad all the pictures of it i have are stock but i loved to drive it but being 6'5 and my girlfriend not being to thrilled about riding in it after she had flipped her tj I had to get rid of it but people will pay for a good sammy down here even rusty ones you can find pretty expensive if its not on the frame at least. but i plan on one day having another one as a beach cruiser or just something to drive. Its also cheaper for me to have an xj haha all my buddys have parts for jeeps laying around so i just go and take stuff from them unlike my sammy
