Hey guys, slow progress for a while. I got a full time job at the local shipyard.
Have been neglecting the XJ working on the WK.
New Halo headlights are in and just picked up a 2" leveling kit and new UCA so she can run 265s on it.

Lift went on okay. Rear took an hour for both sides, simple unbolt the shock and sway bar, droop the coil, put the spacer in. The front sucked. Lower clevis fork bolt seized to bushing on one side, had to cut it and drill it out. New upper and lower control arms on both sides. I snapped a CV axle on accident as well Overall it still was easier than when we lifted her old XJ.
After torqueing all the bolts and getting an alignment done. IFS suspension sure makes the ride nice.

The 235s are small, I am thinking of putting 265/75r17s on.

Working on fixing up the Jon boat that's been sitting for years in the back. New wheels, tires, fenders, hub bearings, complete electric overhaul with new lights, new trailer winch, hitch mount, just got it re registered. Only have a 24lb Minn Kota trolling motor at the moment though. Eventually want to get a small outboard. Just need a drop hitch for the jeep.

Got the boat hooked up, I need a drop hitch for sure. Does this look safe though? Boat is secured in the back with a ratchet strap and on the front of the trailer with the winch. Is it too high up or is it okay? Last thing I want is to endanger someone on the road. Everything is nice and tight in the ball, I can yank up and down and side to side and it doesn't budge.

Scored some 17X8 4.5BS Rock Mrawler steel wheels for pretty cheap ($30/wheel) for the WK. Had some rust, stripped them down and painted them glossy black. Just waiting on new hubcaps to come in.
Tires were bald when I got them, but they're junk anyway so I didn't bother masking the wheels off.
Couple coats of glossy black and glossy clear and they look decent. Time will tell if the rust comes back or not, I got as much off as I could.

I wish you were closer I feel like we would hang out. Boat looks fine. A drop hitch wouldn’t hurt though. I tow a 5x8 trailer with a dirt bike and don’t even notice it.
I have some center caps caps I will give you for those wheels.

If you're ever in the area (23322) hit me up, I'd love to meet up and hang out.
They came with some but they were so pitted and rusted I just tossed them. 4 wheel parts sells plastic ones for $4 so I may just pick those up. Thanks though.
