I'll have to mess around more with placement. Only drawback for the kickpanel speakers is passenger side fuse panel would get blocked off.

CEL came on today for battery temperature sensor. Figured i'd knock out two birds one stone with the resistor mod.
Taken from a support group: "By studying the factory service manual I downloaded yesterday, I found out a easy safe simple way to increase the voltage outputs of our alternators to a higher voltage of about 14.6-14.8v range... Simply unhook the battery temp sensor and install a 47k ohm resistor to its plug instead. This causes the pcm to think the battery temp sensor is very very cold which then calls for a higher voltage output from the ecu's built in voltage regulator. Higher voltage is really good for electrical motors such as cooling fans, and makes light bulbs brighter too and sub systems hit a little harder in the stereo world too"
From what i've read I won't miss the sensor, because -95 models don't even have one.

The clamp mount on my roof rack has been bothering me for a while, so I am going to try to fab up some new ones that extend further in the gutter rail using some angle iron.

Things will be slowing down on the Jeep until Spring, school starts back up in 2 weeks. I have 5 classes left to take until I can graduate with my Associates Degree for Applied Science of Electrical Technology, with a minor in Business Management... I'm pretty stoked, but I have no idea what kind of career I want.
On the other note I scored some LeBaron hood vents for $20 shipped from a fellow member. They're going on the Nugget. For some reason, her engine bay gets a bit hotter even before the Monstaliner it could cook an egg.

So a WJ arm rest fits the late model XJ center console with little to no mod, gives you an extra two inches of cubby space height wise, and is 10x more comfortable than the stock one. The latch mechanism is also much sturdier, it's a push button.
No more sore elbows!

I originally wanted one from a ZJ, but apparently there's a bracket you can use on the WJ to try rear cup holders as well. All the ZJs at the junkyard were, well junk.

Still need to figure something out for the speaker hole, the guy cut it out for his speakers. Pretty happy with the conversion. I forgot to grab the spacers and clips between the crank and door panel so I have to order those.
Wired up the free horns. Will eventually relocate them but it's on and boy is it loud! Higher pitched but its better than running on one single factory horn.

Nice job on the manual windows. As far as the spacers and clips, the Dodge Neons use the same cranks. As far as horns, my favorite setup is the 4 horn setup out of the Cadillacs - sounds like a train horn.

Never posted up pictures of the battery temp resistor mod results. Gained a good half volt at idle, I spoke with a few others and they have said it helped improve winch usage and makes a dual battery setup more efficient if I ever decide to put one in. I would assume power windows would roll down quicker too, I'll have to do the same mod to the girlfriends and test it. She also has a subwoofer so curious to see how that changes.
