I am sure if you called a local spring manufacturer they would know the size it is, and be able to make you the correct one if you give them the info of the vehicle it came off of.

or just grab one from a junkyard... Your not suposed to reuse them because they are stretchbolts... But its been done and works ok. Just not the best or "ideal" method

Did I hear that right... you're gonna get some USED junkyard u bolts to run on your mud truck?

go to autozone and get a block kit, like 20 bucks and you get two blocks you get to throw away and some new u bolts

Nice recovery BTW. I honestly thought this thread was gonna spiral into a vortex leading to FAIL HELL, but you really turned it around. Nice work on the plating, So didnt you say your front D44 was 6 lug and the D60 was 8? how you gonna mount up those wheels of your buddys? Are they different lug patterns? JW..

Not needed on a leaf spring setup. Just don't use paper thin shackles

no the scout was 8 lug rear and 6 lug front my jeep has 1979 ford 3/4 ton 8 lug running gear for it and the blocks your talking about are aluminum and the last time we used those they compressed and ended up wearing out some stuff on a chevy mud truck but I'm gonna have home made purches for the rear with no blocks up front because its not really a good idea to have blocks up front and plus its tall enough with those springs i am using

He didn't meant to use the blocks. He meant to buy the kit. Throw the blocks in the trash and use the u-bolts. It's cheaper that way.

the block kit is actually cheaper than the ubolts by themselves.. and they're right beside each other.. very odd lol
