I bet runnign the old stock pack from teh scout it will be pretty soft for a leaf sprung front end. Jus tmake sure you get your measurments in properly to have a 45* shackle angle and it should be pretty good.

ya but the way it sits now with the v8 it hardly moves when i jump on it and also just so you all know I'm going with the shackles up front so i can have the right angle for my axle

What are you using for spring perches?

When I built my leaf spring Saumrai I ended up having to widen the frame so I could get the springs far enough apart to use a full width 44.

I'm getting ready to go on lucy and pick me up some steel for the front perches acutely I'm gone widen it to have my springs fit on the side off the diff so i don't have to use the flat part of the 44 leaf spot I'm going this in this pic I'm gone post

Just so you know, you can set the angle of the axle by the angle of the mounts you weld on... So either way it can have the 45* shackle front or rear of the spring.

the scout springs are kinda short so my rear mount will prob be where the frame starts to bend up no measurements yet tonight i will have some
