i agree should of left the trim. it made if look even cooler. i have a all black 96 xj with all black rims and the same trim sadly no lift i love the trim just makes it so its not so bland looking around the doors. that color is freakin awesome. i wanna know what the paint number on that is if you dont mind me asking.

 

I'll have to get the paint code for you, but I wanted to get rid of the stripe because I felt it was too much. I think the blue stands out even more so now.

Sell them. They have about 80% or so tread left.

 

While awaiting the RC kit that should be here later this afternoon, I went and picked up some brand new km2's 32x11.5. What a difference! Now we wait for the facelift

 

You gonna be able to mount the wheels to the new tires by yourself?

I may have skipped over it, but what size lift you going with? 4.5"?

EDIT: Yep I skipped over it haha. Just a though, I regret not doing a spacer and shackle lift on top of mine when I had the car on jack stands all at once. Just a thought for you. 4.5" is a bit bigger than 3" though. About 1.5" to be exact...

 

I actually drove by a guy in my small town driving a similar XJ today. Looked like it either had a 2" lift with 30s or 30s under stock suspension. Had the red trim too.

 

Amazing jeep. Great color too. You can get great machines if you look.
I bought my xj from e bay. £1200. Bargain and in almost new condition.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I have yet to see another blue xj like my own in person. Something went wrong with my shipping and im missing a leaf pack. Rough country said it would be here tomorrow so I can get this thing finall up in the air. Also ebay has great deals if you look hard enough

 

I would of kept that red strip and the orange side markers. It broke it up some and IDK but I dig a nice set of vividly orange side markers!
I'm not sure why but it can be a ugly jeep with sexy new side markers and I'll think it looks good.....I'm just weird I guess but damn it, should of kept them orange!

 

Well for me that stripe HAD to go. Good for you taking it off I'm anxious to see how the lift looks! nice tires too

OP that is an awesomely clean xj ilove it. Cant wait to see it in the air! I just finished my RC 4.5" lift today!

 

Jeep looks awesome. I also have like 1 of the very few blue jeeps around me.
