What is this part and can it be found at a parts store? Its what holds the cad converter from raddling witch is what its doing and gets annyoing when turning or going over bumps.
It looks like its hooked into the transmission and moves around when pulled on. I already got a new tailpipe and muffler about a year ago and probably will get a new cad converter too.

Im getting ready to take off the skid plates off the front and back and I sprade WD40 and PB blaster on the 4 bolts of the gas cover skid plate and let sit for a day and sprade again and attempted to take one off. It turned and heard it brake twice thinking it was going to be easy then it snaped off. So im afrad all of the bolts are going to do this and I planed on trying to save as many as I can and replace with stainless bolts and neverseas. So how am I going to get the rest off without braking them, I think I have to drill the other bolt out now.
All and im taking them off to sand buff the skid plates down and prime and paint them black with rustolum. And eaither getting new leaf springs or do the same to these but eaither way the bolts are all rusted on and trying to save the Cherokee from death of rust. Even my new muffler and tailpipe are rusted already, So I may get some silver spray paint and paint them aswell.

Finished painting the drums with black rustolum, debaited over silver or black and went with black.
Finished taking off the fuel tank skid plate and cleaned it up, the fuel tank has a rust patch and is leaking. So probably will order a new one and paint it too. Luckly it is empty.
There was leaves laying inside the skid plate so probably caused the rust witch you can see on the plate and tank area.

Finished taking off the gas tank and and the bumper
Also got a brand new fuel pump, new fuel tank straps and going to order new fuel tank/skid plate brakets as seen in the image above. They go into the frame.
Also got some stainless steel bolts and split lock washers.

Sanded down and buffed the back frames and painted rustolum them. Also painted the fuel tank. I finished sanding down the bumper mounting brackets but need to find the clips that go on the ends of them. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Crown-Automotive-52000290-Bumper-Bracket-84-96-Cherokee-XJ-/201081363710?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AJeep%7CModel%3ACherokee&hash=item2ed1621cfe&vxp=mtr I found some at the auto store but they are too small and forgot the name of them to look up. Also need the hood strut clip to hold it in place again. Its for the rod that holds up the hood.

So Im thinking of painting my dash and been wanting to from the begining. Im wanting to do charcoal witch is the standard in the dark color interior. Mine is a greyish blue and then for that center custom install dash console, I want to do the darkwood grain and maybe on some other areas. Is it better to paint it my self or take it somewhere and if done my self, what kinda of paint do I get? Still want the texture to stay and not some flat suface look. http://image.4wheeloffroad.com/f/265...1_interior.jpg
My next thing is the guage cluster, I was wanting to add the orange needles to it and maybe a custom black or white background.

I have the Cherokee legal to drive on the road again. Inspected and insured. I had to get a new calber since the other was sticking and smelled cut steel. while driving down the road. Passager side. Windsheild wiper arms are moving slow and opened the vent and sprayed the joints and helped move alittle faster but not much. Dont know if the motor is going bad or not.
