Alright the noise I was chasing was definitely the alternator. New belt, alt, and pulley today to get it ready for the mountains tomorrow morning.

Down by the river

Up on the mountain

Really need to get a new bumper and fix that dent

Ol’Goldy made it with no fuss. Climbed a few mountains and followed a couple rivers.

Ol Goldy - Love the pics and nice work on the Jeep. I'm in the NW as well (Clallam County, WA). Would you mind sharing where these pics are from? I'd love to check out some of these places some day. Thanks and take care.

Thank you. These are various spots in Idaho, middle and north forks of the Boise River and arrowrock reservoir(water), The Owyhees (desert), and Idaho city.

My view is not always a pretty one but the hills sure do help. I think some shocks and possibly some misc hose replacement and brakes are next down the pipe line. I’m probably going to be swapping out calipers, rotors, brake lines and pads in front since I get the parts for cheap, then hitting the backs with new drums, cylinders, hardware kit and shoes. Still looking at KYB monomaxes just waiting for the right time to drop the money and get them shipped in. There is still a lot of work and cleaning to do but I’ve been too busy having fun.......

Thank you, I am definitely in the 1a. I used to ride in this thing to all these places when I was a kid so it’s been fun to sort of relive it all through the driver seat this time. Glad to see another idafolk, thanks for the offer of help and yeah I’ll have to hit you up sometime. I enjoy being shown new places and might have a couple of mine own to show.
