I recently purchased a Chrysler 8.25 27 spline rear end from a guy on CL. Upgrading to 29 splines, 4.56 gears, Eaton Truetrac, disc conversion from Big David, with Iron Rock axle truss. Everything will get out in in a couple of weeks. Heading to Hollister Hills next weekend with what I got. Guess I'll have to do a before and after trip! Axle truss for my 8.25 Just seeing how my disc and truss are gonna look Chrysler 8.25, 27 spline. Upgrading to 29 spline axles, 4.56 gears, w/ Eaton Trutrak
Nice! I'm wanting to do the exact same thing to my 27 spline 8.25, except keep the 4.11 r&p that's already in there. Other than the TrueTrac and axles, what else did you have to get for the conversion?
