Also, how has the paint on the door handles been holding up? Hasn't it worn off the door handles or off the thumb latch thing?

Sorry man. No trailer updates yet. Been pretty busy plus putting a newer engine out of a 2002 wrangler in the jeep pretty soon. 320000 miles on this one. Time to update a bit. I'm looking at another couple months before i can dive into the trailer.

Well I have finally desided to upgrade. I bought a 2000 XJ last night. Over the next month I'll be transfering everything for my original biuld to the new one. I have desided to paint it tan like my original. Just newer with 200,000 less miles on it.
It has a Rubicon express 3.5 lift and 32 inch tires and aluminum wheels, Bilsten shocks on it. I will be selling the lift and tires. Front and rear Diffs. Crystler 8.25 in the rear. Along with a few other things. I will put them up here first.
Hope to have pictures up of the new biuld. Should i start a new thread or continue this one????

So, you've had the IRO OTK steering kit for a while now I see, and it looks like you have been daily driving it the whole time also. How is it working for you? Ive heard that it squeeks badly, clunks around on bumps, and the Heims wear out very quickly... any first hand experience with this? and whats you overall opinion of the steering kit?

I would start another build thread. I've been following this build for awhile, and I would love to see what you can do with a 97+ XJ.

So far the kit has heald up great. Little noisy. Squecks, pops. But nothing bad. Very stong. I havent had any issues with cracks or breaksvand Ive hit some rocks pretty hard with it. I have only had an issue with alignmet places not knowing what to do. I would recommend it.

What are you going to do with this 88? And i wouldnt go with tan on the new one. Tan is overdone IMO. Otherwise sweet build.

The 88 is getting stripped and scrapped. As for the color of this one. I want to blend in with the terrain. So I'm thinking of going with tan again or I'm leaning toward a dark army green
I will have a few pictures up of the new one in a day or two.
