Default 1983 Jeep Honcho Sportside

We have had a 1983 jeep honcho sportside in the family since new. My dad used to drive it when i was younger. Now its being passed on to me. Its been sitting for many years and im fixing to start restoring it. I have no clue where to start or where i can get parts. If anyone can help id appericate it big time!!!! Il try to get some pictures on here tomorrow!

Very cool project. I would love to have a rig as unique as that. How extensive of a build are you planning on? Hit the web using "full size jeep" as a search. I'm sure you will find something.

check out BJ's offroad and Hell Creek for lift kits.....

whats it rolling? 360 V8, TH400 auto, D300 t-case, and Dana 44 axles?

Sweet ! I've always wanted.one of those . A guy near me has one still in perfect condition. He has had it since new . No he won't sell it .

Dang dude! There's someone around my neighborhood with a WHITE one of those! I just saw it running one morning with mud slung all over the side of it, one of these days I'm going to knock on that person's door and offer to buy it! good luck with your project!

Try RockAuto.com they have a lot of OEM parts for many different cars

Nice J10, looks like a good start. Check out ifsja.org, thats the fsj website, you have a pretty hard to find truck, especially with the factory roll bar and the Honcho decals still on it. I had a 82 J10 Laredo short bed, and I miss it, sometimes wish I never sold it.

where are you located Clark?

those things are getting hard to find in the jy but we have one near me in NY that has a J10, 2 FSJ Cherokees and like 3 FSJ Grand Wagoneers.....as well as a few old binder pick-ups i've been drooling over lol
