Too much crap in the way on SD axles, even makes mounting coil overs hard! I'm helping a friend with one, and have another friend building one atm.
I agree that the kp vs bj isn't a huge deal (besides steering simplicity/options) nor is the unit bearing an issue for most of us. I'd just rather have more free space to work with, I really think that is why SD axles are so cheap these days

It's true they have a lot of crap on them that sucks to remove, but I don't know if that's a valid reason for not wanting to swap one in over a KP. Lol

Prices are ridiculous around me. I can find built stuff on Hardline for an overall better deal than buying, building, and time in a JY axle.
